How to Honor People with To Honor Them

Hi folks, oftentimes in our lives there is someone who really stands out as having made a difference in our lives. However more often than not we do not slow down to thank and recognize these individuals. This site was created to help you honor someone in a beautiful, meaningful, and lasting way. There are things in life that should not be left unsaid- there are people that need to be thanked and To Honor Them helps you answer that crucial question of how to honor people. The purpose of this blog post is to give you a quick snapshot of how the honor story creation process works on To Honor Them. You will see how drop-dead easy and rewarding this is - and its really something we should all be doing for loved ones and those individuals who made a difference in our lives.

Here is the process after you create your free unlimited account:

First, click "Create an Honor" which takes you to the "Honor Designer".

Step 1 - Specify who you want to honor and what your relationship is to that person.

Step 2 - We provided you some guided questions to help you remember events, stories, and memories of why that person is special. In this step you also get to pick from a list of admirable qualities and you simply click a check-box of the ones that you believe fit that person. Then you can either upload a picture or we've provided for you a bunch of pictures fitting various types of honors.

Step 3 - You can choose to copy people on the honor before you send it and you can make the honor public or private - now you're done.

A simple honor can be completely done in 8-10 minutes total but the system supports making these as rich as you want them to be. You can honor your father and mother, honor a teacher, honor a coach, honor a friend, honor a boss, honor an employee, honor a veteran, honor a spouse, or anyone!

So when you are wrestling with how to honor people - try this out. We get a lot of repeat honor-senders because the process of sending an honor is incredibly rewarding all by itself.

We are so thankful to all of our friends, families, and fans of To Honor Them!  We have passed our 1-year marker of making a difference in the lives of people by promoting gratitude, thankfulness, and honor.  We created this Website because we were so moved by the people who made a difference in our lives - and we wanted to say thank-you!  We continue to be excited and convicted that this is an important mission and are thrilled to be owning and operating this Website.  On this Thanksgiving day here are some ideas of ways you can use To Honor Them:

* Honor and thank someone on Thanksgiving for making a difference in your life
* Honor your father or honor your mother
* Honor a single mom in your life who is working hard for her family
* Honor someone in your life who inspires others by standing strong
* Honor someone whose faith is an example
* Thank a teacher who said something to your child that was encouraging
* Thank a coach who went above and beyond
* Thank a boss who was so much more
* Thank your best friend
